Mieczyslaw Kubalski was born in Warsaw in Poland, and was an Air Force Reservist at the outbreak of the Second World War. Poland was invaded from two sides, by the Nazis and the Russians, and while his country was overwhelmed, Mieczyslaw escaped, and after a series of adventures made his way to England, where he joined the Royal Air Force and continued the fight to free his homeland. His son Dave Kent tells us about his father.
