The Typhoon became aerial artillery
Sir Ken Adam was born Klaus High Adam in Berlin in 1921. His parents sent him and his brother to boarding school in Scotland to escape the dangerous situation in Germany as the Nazis came to power and anti-semitism increased. Ken Adam joined the RAF as a fighter pilot, and after the war achieved international renown as a film production designer.
