James Buckley joined the RAF in Oct 1996 as an Airframe Mechanic and on completion of training was posted to RAF Coltishall on Jaguars and RAF Bruggen in Germany on the Visiting Aircraft Section. Since then he has had tours at RAF Odiham and Brize Norton working on both 101 Sqn – VC10s and 216 Sqn Tristars before returning to Cosford as an instructor in 2014.
