It was hard for Kenny to adjust after the RAF. There was no support or aftercare to put him on his feet and help him find work. Later he joined the RAF Association and a Group Commander helped him get a job. He then met his wife, they moved to London, but she didn't like it there so they moved back to Aberdeen and started a family.
