First time I ever saw, or

I was near a Chinook, was...

we had to do night refueling,

as part of your training and

when the Chinook actually comes down,

the world is moving with it.

It comes down as a massive piece.

And if you're standing under the

near the rotor, look up.

It's like a fireworks display

because the, the static electricity

And that's what amazes you

in other helicopters you've got one.

But in a Chinook

And that's when you think, wow, this is something

The Chinook you can hear from miles away.

It's the only you know initially it’s

Right.

But then as it approaches,

And as it comes down closer to you,

That's why, quite passionately, the,

the guys and gals in the Air Force

I think that's

That has acquired

a nickname
