We're individuals. Yes,
that individuality brings
that extra bit to us.
But eventually we are a family.
And that is very,
Being a Hindu now, when I joined the Air
Now I'm more religious
than I was when I was in this industry
what I've learned about my religion,
I've learned through the Air Force
because it's allowed me to.
The Air Force allowed me to develop
Because as somebody said a few years
this young man,
But what he said was,
I will be sovereign of a nation
He was right.
I do believe now
that work together and come together,
and it reflects in our armed forces.
We are not looking for individuals
who can just join our team.
We're looking for individuals who bring
individuality into the family,
and we respect
each other's religions and backgrounds.
with our diversity
teach our young aviators.
This is what they're you know,
that living in the community
But when they join us,
they've got to know
why the man standing next to them
functions in that slightly different way,
or the girl standing next to them.
Why is she wearing a hijab? Right.
They will know,
They will know now because we've set up
the diversity and inclusion of things
in such a manner that it
not ignorance, is no longer
allowed. It's it doesn't can't be.
We are aware of our people
within our ranks, it's
We're no longer England
but most of our operations are outside it.
And no matter where we go,
we face these different cultures
we have to adapt to them
And I think sometimes
do look at us and go, hang on, they know
